M/s Prime Enterprises was started by Mr. Prasad Shetye, a technocrat turned entrepreneur, in the Year 2007 to cater to the need felt by Industries in Konkan region, for good Instrumentation service providers. Mr Prasad Shetye holds a B.E.(Hons) degree in Electronic & Telecommunication with an M.B.A in Operations Management

Mr. Prasad Shetye started his career in a small Resistor manufacturing plant in Goa and after working there for a short time, joined a large Fertilizer manufacturing company in the Goa region, where he worked for about fifteen years, in the Instrumentation department, in various capacities starting as a Management Trainee & rising over the years to lead the Instrumentation department.

He has won a number of awards and was also invited as an external examiner & paper setter in Goa University & various engineering colleges affiliated to it, for about eight years in the Electronics discipline. He has designed a number of Instrumentation systems and these have been working satisfactorily for past number of years. His main areas of experience are in Design of Control Systems, DCS (Distributed Control Systems), Boiler Control Systems, Power Supply Design, UPS System Design, Design of Optical Isolators, Field Bus Systems, Revamping of Bagging plant, HVAC Systems etc.
